In three parts, Breathe explores photography through video, meditating on the intimacy that can exist between people and their cameras. During the first part, an object reflected on the water inside a developing tray moves like an organic entity. In the second part, the artist uses photographic negatives as filters for his video camera. By focusing and unfocusing, he fuses and blends the photos with the video images, producing new, palpitating textures. Finally, the ondulating movements of a naked stomach reference the videos initial images.
